Our brains are constantly burning off information in order to make room for more information. One of the unfortunate side-effects of this process is sometimes losing a handful of the memories we make over time. So, what matters? Small moments.

We might not remember every single detail from our lives, it’s impossible. Yet, somehow— our brains prioritize special moments. We might not remember that trip to Disney-World we took when we were eight-years old, but we remember the small things:

The taste of the ice cream, the feeling of the sun on our skin, that funny face our Dad made on the Haunted Mansion ride.

That’s how weddings are.

A day we spend months (if not years) planning for and anticipating, and when the day finally arrives… it’s over in the blink of an eye.

My goal, as a filmmaker and visual storyteller, is to capture the small moments of such a fast-moving, yet monumental day. My approach is candid. My hope is to float in the background of your day capturing them as they happen. Documenting not just a wedding, but a time in the lives of two people becoming one. It’s a privilege to do so.
